Young hero Kiran Abbavaram’s latest film, KA, is creating a sensation at the box office, with trade sources declaring it a Diwali winner. Tanvi Ram and Nayan Sarika play the heroines in KA, which is produced by the director duo Sujith and Sandeep. The film is presented by Mrs. Chinta Varalakshmi and produced by Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy under the banner of Srichakraas Entertainments, showcasing impressive production values. Producer Vamsi Nandipati released the film in Telugu. KA has received a superb response from audiences, achieving gross collections of Rs 13.11 crore in just two days. In this context, a success meet was held in Hyderabad.
Speaking at the event, DOP Viswas Daniel expressed, “The response to KA is very encouraging. Hero Kiran has supported me from the beginning, and I am very grateful to him. I consider another DOP, Sateesh Reddy, my soul mate. Directors Sujith and Sandeep are close friends, and we worked hard on this movie because we loved it. Today, the audience is appreciating our efforts in theaters.”
DOP Sateesh Reddy Masam said, “Thank you to the audience for making our movie such a big hit. We all worked as a family, and it was a true team effort. Kiran has supported us throughout. Our ability to work well is largely due to producer Gopalakrishna garu’s support.”
Editor Sree Varaprasad stated, “If the content is good, the audience won’t distinguish between small and big films, as proven by the success of KA. We are receiving housefull reports from everywhere. It’s a wonderful feeling when our friends call to say the film is very good.”
Producer Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy shared, “When Kiran brought the script for KA to me, I saw determination in his eyes. The content felt fresh and new. The entire team worked hard to make this film a success, collaborating closely to deliver it in the shortest time possible. We need to protect the producer; if they are good, they will make more films. Our team put in a tremendous effort. Kiran used to talk a lot, like Vijay Deverakonda in Geetha Govindam, while I spoke less, like Rashmika. Today, recalling all that makes me very happy. I can’t believe I’ve made such a big super hit film—that’s why I’m still waiting for the success kick to hit. I wish all my team the best.”
Distributor Vamsi Nandipati stated, “When the film KA was presented to me, something magical happened. Kiran mentioned that we were making a film not for twenty crores, but for one hundred crores. His words gave me a lot of confidence. I thank producer Gopalakrishna garu for trusting me with the distribution based on Kiran’s word, even though I had initially sought distribution from larger companies. If a producer like Gopi garu is successful, ten more heroes like Kiran will emerge, and people like me will produce a hundred more films.”
Director Sandeep expressed his gratitude, saying, “I thank the audience for making KA a huge success. Our direction team worked tirelessly day and night, and I appreciate their efforts. There is no distinction between small and big films; what matters is how well we execute our vision within our budget. We have put in significant effort to deliver a quality film with KA, and we aspire to continue making such good films in the future.”
Heroine Nayan Sarika remarked, “I will go to watch our movie in the theater. When I asked to sit among the audience, the theater staff informed me that there were no empty seats. As a heroine, nothing makes me happier. The audience has given KA such a warm reception. The character of Satyabhama will be remembered forever in my career.”
Director Sujith said, “As first-time directors, we are thrilled to have achieved a blockbuster like KA with our debut film. We are witnessing full houses for our first film. “KA” is a complex story, and we are grateful for the audience’s support. It’s heartening to know they are enjoying it. We thank Kiran garu and every team member for their support.”
Production designer Sudheer Macharla expressed his appreciation, saying, “Thank you to the audience for giving KA a big success, especially during the festival competition. I am grateful to our directors for creating such innovative content, and to Kiran garu for his dedication in making the film shine.”
Hero Kiran Abbavaram added, “You have given me a grand festival this Diwali with the success of KA. I thank all our Telugu audiences; mere thanks feel inadequate. Previously, the audience saw me as the boy next door, but now they consider me one of their own. The demand for tickets and additional screenings is rising. Many in the industry, including Aravind garu, Naga Vamsi garu, 14 Reels Ram, and Gopi garu, have sent their best wishes. We will be releasing KA in Malayalam on the 8th of this month. Telugu people in Tamil Nadu are asking why it hasn’t been released there after becoming such a blockbuster. I urge distributor Vamsi garu to arrange shows in Tamil Nadu. Families are going together to watch KA, and I’m thrilled to see full houses everywhere. This trend started from the premieres.
The success of KA has brought me this respect. People say it’s not just a hit; it’s a phenomenon. I am grateful to everyone who considers this their success. As a hero, what more could I want? I am receiving so much love and support. It’s not about how much this film collects, but the joy of reaching the audience that brings me the greatest happiness. We will definitely make a sequel to KA, featuring the special aspects of Krishnagiri village.”
