Isha Gramotsavam: Celebrating Rural Sports and Culture

Isha Gramotsavam , launched by Sadhguru in 2004, holds immense significance in today’s fast-paced world, where urbanization often overshadows rural life and its unique traditions. This is Aimed to rejuvenate the spirit of rural India and foster a sense of community, tradition and healthy competition.

Throwball for Women
Rural games
Traditional art forms

So far, 8,412 teams, comprising 1,00,167 players have participated in Isha Gramotsavam. This year 126 locations with more than 80,000 players participating from the following states:

Matches are being organized in the 26 districts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh

The matches are planned from Nov 16th to December 28th. Matches are conducted in 3 stages namely Cluster(District level), Divisional(State level) and Final(South Indian state level). Final event will be held in front of Adiyogi, Isha Yoga Centre, Coimbatore.

Prizes for winning teams are Volleyball (Men): Rs. 5 Lakhs, Throwball (Women): Rs. 5 Lakhs. The total prize pool will be more than 1 crore.
