On this occasion, producer and Telangana Film Chamber Chairman Dr. Pratani Ramakrishna Goud shared his excitement about bringing the Tamil super-hit “Jhansi IPS” to Telugu audiences. He highlighted Lakshmi Rai’s triple role as the film’s main attraction, with eight intense action sequences choreographed by thriller master Fight Manju that will be milestones in her career. He believes these action scenes will be a highlight of the film, making it a memorable addition to the RK Films banner. Lakshmi Rai’s three distinct roles are filled with different shades, from an IPS officer combating drug mafias that corrupt students and youth, to a fierce woman putting an end to rowdy activities in villages, and a glamorous character that captivates the youth. Lakshmi Rai displays her versatility through these roles.
The producer noted that iconic films like Vijayashanti’s “Karthavyam” served as an inspiration, recalling how it solidified Vijayashanti’s status as a Lady Superstar. He expressed confidence that “Jhansi IPS” would achieve similar success, aiming for a grand release across a large number of theaters worldwide on November 22nd, with the film already completing its censor formalities.
Renowned dancer and actress Aksha Khan also praised the film, noting that though many female-oriented films have been made before, “Jhansi IPS,” with Lakshmi Rai’s remarkable performance in three roles, stands out. She expressed her hopes for the film’s success.
