Director Prakash Dantuluri is ready with the new-age film ‘Yevam’, which will be released in theatres on June 14. It stars Chandini Chowdary, Vasishta Simha, Bharat Raj, and Aashu Reddy in lead roles. The film is produced by CSpace and Prakash Dantuluri Productions. Bankrolled by Navdeep and Pavan Goparaju, the film’s pre-release event was held in Hyderabad on Monday. Mass Ka Das Vishwak Sen and director Sandeep Raj were the chief guests.
Speaking on the occasion, Vishwak Sen said that if the hero Navdeep acts, there will be more romance, and if he is a producer, there will be more violence. “At CSpace, Navdeep has created a good platform for emerging talents. After filming wraps, actors often stay immersed in their characters for a while, maintaining contact only with a select few. Chandini Chowdhary, an actress I greatly respect, used to experience this intensity. However, this movie helped her overcome that fear. I hope to see more women in all areas of filmmaking. Witnessing this team come together was truly inspiring. My wish is for this film to be a success for everyone involved,” he added.
Chandini said that she didn’t expect her films to come out one after another this year. “I thank Sandeep Raj and Vishwak Sen for giving me memorable films in my career. I landed ‘Yevam’ when I was looking for a female-centric movie. Cop roles are not just about action. This character of mine has different shades,” she said.
