Versatile actor Dr. Naresh Vijayakrishna celebrated his 50-year milestone with a grand golden jubilee event attended by dignitaries, heroes, actors, directors, producers, friends, and family. The gathering, held on August 11th, also served as the inauguration of his countryside residence in Chilkur.
During the golden jubilee celebrations, the VIJAYAKRISHNA MANDHIR & GHATTAMANENI INDIRA DEVI SPOORTHI VANAM (Inspiration Park) was inaugurated. Justice Hon’ble Smt. Surepalli Nanda Garu of the Telangana High Court was the chief guest. Other distinguished guests included Judge Shree N. Madhava Rao Garu, Assistant Public Prosecutor Shri Surepalli Prashanth Garu, Mr. Jackie Shroff, actress Mrs. Poonam Dhillon, and notable personalities such as Jayasudha, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, and Kushboo.
In her speech, Srimathi Surepalli Nanda Garu highlighted that this park is a wonderful bridge connecting past and future generations.
Naresh Vijayakrishna remarked that the park is his gift to future filmmakers and the public. The Spoorthi Vanam (Inspiration Park) is designed as a memorial for the legends who have contributed to the film industry. It was inaugurated with statues of Superstar Krishna and Vijaya Nirmala. The space is intended to foster creativity among young writers, directors, and music directors, with plans to include a film library and museum in the future. The park will be open to fans and the public.
In the evening, a reception featured a meet-and-greet where Naresh Vijayakrishna, Pavithra Lokesh, and Jayasudha were felicitated by the Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA). Other attendees included Mr. Madala Ravi, Sivabalaji, Smt. Poonam Dhillon from the Cine Artistes’ Association of Maharashtra, and veteran actors from the ’80s such as Jackie Shroff, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, and Kushboo.
Heroes Sai Dharam Tej and Manoj Manchu, director Maruthi, director Anudeep, Sairam Abbirazu, actor Ali, music director Koti, director Satish Vegesna, producers Sharath Marar and Radha Mohan, along with numerous celebrities from the Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil film industries, graced the occasion.
Naresh Vijayakrishna’s film Sathya, starring Sai Dharam Tej and Colours Swathi, which won 26 international awards, was screened and received warm applause.
