Hyderabad:
Tollywood Famous Director V. Samudra has embarked on his latest venture, ‘Kumbha,’ under his own production banner, V. Samudra Film. The launch event at Filmnagar Temple, Hyderabad, where the film’s First shot was performed. The first clap was given by DS Rao, while the camera was switched on by V. Samudra’s wife, Vijayalakshmi. The inaugural scene was directed by Chandramahesh and Devi Prasad.
Speaking on the occasion, director-producer V. Samudra stated, “I believe in strong storytelling and have taken on the challenge of producing five films with new talents. ‘Kumbha’ is one of them. I am working on this project with the same team that has been with me for my previous films. This Pan-India movie will be made in six Indian languages. In addition to ‘Kumbha,’ I will also be producing ‘Varada Raju Govindam,’ ‘Rama Janmabhoomi,’ ‘India CEO,’ and ‘Production No. 5’ as Pan-India films. I am thrilled to announce these projects under the V. Samudra Film banner and seek your blessings for our new ventures.”
Music director Warangal Sreenu commented, “All the titles V. Samudra has worked on have been hits. His films are discussed everywhere, and the songs in his movies are always appropriate to the situations. It’s my privilege to work on a project with him, and I will cherish this opportunity for the rest of my life.”
Hero Vijay Ram expressed his happiness and pride at being given the opportunity by the renowned director, saying, “It’s a blessing to work with Samudra garu.” Spiritual leader Raju extended divine blessings to the film unit. Kanna Devaraj expressed confidence, saying, “Samudra garu is a great director, and his films have always been blockbusters. This film will also be a super hit.”
