However, no Malayalam movie has achieved this feat yet. “Marco” has taken up the responsibility of filling this gap. Released on the 20th of this month, the movie is creating a tsunami of collections in Malayalam and has taken the Hindi market by storm with its theatrical release.

Starring Unni Mukundan in the titular role and directed by Haneef Adeni, “Marco” is produced by Shareef Mohammed under the “Cubes Entertainment” banner. Considering the extraordinary response to the Hindi version in Telugu states, the production house is planning to expand its release to more theaters.
