Rana Daggubati, Spirit Media’s debut series,

ZEE5, India’s largest home-grown video-streaming platform and a multilingual storyteller has established its digital footprint in South India by successfully delivering blockbuster Telugu hits such as Viduthalai, Vimanam and many more. Adding another feather into their regional content catalogue, the platform premiered the multi-starrer Telugu sitcom series ‘Maya Bazaar For Sale’ on 14th July. Within a week of its premiere on ZEE5, the series went on to clock 100 MN streaming minutes and witnessed a grand opening.


Produced by Rana Daggubati’s debut production venture Spirit Media, ‘Maya Bazaar For Sale’ revolves around different families in a premium gated community. The series strikes a perfect balance between comedic elements and poignant moments that evoke themes of unity and resilience with a hint of nostalgia. Directed by Gautami Challagulla, the series underlined by an uber-talented star cast including Navdeep Pallapolu, Eesha Rebba, Dr. Naresh Vijaya Krishna, Hari Teja, Jhansi Laxmi, Meiyang Chang, Sunaina and Kota Srinivas Rao received tremendous appreciation by critics and fans worldwide.


Produced by Rajeev Ranjan, the 7-episodic series is a modern exploration of family life and community living in a rather satirical way which conveys the story of a group of sundry families, who move into premium villas in a gated community called ‘Maya Bazaar’.
