Shankara Eye Hospital Organization Eye Health Camp For MAA members

Shankara Eye Hospitals, in collaboration with the Phoenix Foundation, organized a free eye health checkup for all ‘MAA’ members. The event featured participation from MAA president Vishnu Manchu, vice president Madala Ravi, and treasurer Shiva Balaji. During this free eye health camp, all the MAA members had the opportunity to undergo complimentary eye examinations.

Speaking to the media, Vishnu Manchu expressed gratitude to Shankara Eye Hospitals and the Phoenix Foundation for conducting the health camp. He congratulated the members for taking advantage of the initiative and making it a success. He also acknowledged the contributions of Padma Shri Dr. Ramani, noting that free eye hospitals are being established across India. “It’s said that the right hand should not know what the left hand donates. The Phoenix Foundation and Shankara Hospitals embody this spirit. We worship the pontiffs of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, and it’s a joy to see these hospitals operating with their blessings,” he remarked.

Madala Ravi stated, “We thank Chukkapalli Suresh and Chukkapalli Avinash from the Phoenix Foundation who are engaged in numerous service activities. We are pleased to conduct this free eye health camp under the Shankara Eye Foundation. Thanks to Nilesh Jani, the managing director of Phoenix, for all the support. We are also grateful to Vishwa Mohan, head of Shankara Eye Hospitals, for providing free checkups to all our members.”

Shiva Balaji emphasized the importance of eye health, saying, “Many people neglect their eye issues. It’s wonderful to offer this free eye health checkup to all MAA members. I’ve heard that so far, 2.5 million people have received free surgeries, which is a remarkable achievement. Together, we will promote this initiative freely.”

Nilesh Jani, director of the Phoenix Foundation, stated, “We are working towards eradicating blindness as much as possible. Partnering with ‘MAA’ allows us to reach more people effectively.”

Vishwa Mohan, head of Shankara Hospitals, stated, “It’s said that the eyes are the most important of the senses. Don’t neglect eye problems. Identify and address them early. It’s a pleasure to work alongside our MAA members.”
