Niharika Konidela proud of “Committee Kurrollu”

At the grand victory celebration of Committee Kurroll*, presented by Niharika Konidela and produced under the banners of Pink Elephant Pictures LLP and Sriradha Damodar Studios, the cast and crew came together to express their joy and gratitude. The film, directed by Yadu Vamsi, was released on August 9th and has received an overwhelming response from the audience.

During the event, Niharika Konidela shared her heartfelt thanks: “We are incredibly grateful to the audience for their immense support. Director Yadu Vamsi reflected on the journey, saying, “This project began four years ago, and after three and a half years of hard work, we’ve finally heard the word ‘success.’ I owe this to Niharika Garu, Padmaja Garu, and Jaya Garu, who made sure this film reached the audience. Niharika is a remarkable woman; she never compromised on quality, even when others were hesitant to take on this project. Some have said this film feels like a Malayalam movie, but with producers like Niharika, such films will thrive in Telugu cinema from now on. I also want to thank my family, the incredible cast and crew, and especially Raju, whose cinematography exceeded my expectations. Anwar’s editing was exceptional, and Jedi Master’s music brought the film to life. Vijay Master’s action sequences, especially the interval block, have been widely praised, along with Radha Krishna and Sai Maninder’s DTS mixing. Subhash and Kondalrao’s writing resonated strongly with the audience, and Pranay Nayani and Vishnu’s production design beautifully showcased three generations. My direction team worked tirelessly, and the costumes by Bhupal Rao and Siri perfectly captured the generational differences. Anudeep’s songs have been a hit, and I am thrilled with the performances of every artist. Their dedication over the past three years has paid off, and the audience’s connection with each character is evident. This success belongs to them all. Ankit Koyya also shared his thoughts: “Three years ago, Committee Kurrollu began its journey. I immediately recognized its potential and brought it to a producer I knew. Producers often hesitate to hire new talent, but in this case, every newcomer was paid even before asking. If this film hadn’t been a hit, such risks would have been avoided by others.
