Matka Progressing With Important Schedule In Kakinada

Mega Prince Varun Tej is going to show various shades in his maiden Pan India film Matka, as the movie directed by Karuna Kumar will show the journey of his character from youth to old age. The first look of the movie was unveiled recently and the transformation of the character was shown brilliantly. The film is produced grandly by Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala and Rajani Thalluri under the banners of Vyra Entertainments and SRT Entertainment.

Currently, the movie is progressing with its shoot in Kakinada. In this important schedule, the team will be canning talkie part and also action part involving the prominent cast. A poster released by the makers shows Varun Tej in the back pose with a gun in his hand, standing in front of a cruise ship at Kakinada port.

The film Matka is set against a period backdrop, and the team is putting in great efforts to give a retro touch. The film spans a 24-year period, from 1958 to 1982, showcasing Varun Tej in multiple distinct looks.

The film features Meenakshi Chaudhry and Nora Fatehi as the leading ladies. Matka is shaping up to be a landmark project for Varun Tej.

GV Prakash Kumar scores the music, while A Kishore Kumar handles the cinematography. Karthika Srinivas R is the editor of the movie.
